The Health Industry Distributors Association (HIDA) is the leading trade association representing medical products distributors to communicate the value of distribution in the healthcare supply chain.
Since 1902, HIDA has provided leadership in the healthcare distribution industry by providing members with a wide range of resources and relationships that help companies perform efficiently and effectively within today’s complex and ever-evolving market conditions.
HIDA members have the benefit of breaking legislative information and advocacy, access to the latest research and best practices plus a connection to education and training programs designed for employee retention, performance and profitability.
Recognizing the importance of participation in our industry, Medical Supplies Depot has been a proud member of HIDA since 2007 and routinely participates in HIDA events, educational programs and is currently represented on HIDA’s Post-Acute Advisory Council.
For over 70 years, NDC has equipped its member distributors to compete head-to-head with large national suppliers through a broad range of services extending beyond just product sourcing and volume pricing to also include marketing initiatives, sales training, group purchasing access, contract administration and logistics services through its network of state-of-the-art distribution centers.
Medical Supplies Depot has been an active member of NDC for almost 20 years. MSD was awarded NDC’s Marketing Excellence Award in 2009 and has been recognized for significant year-over-year sales growth as a three-time NDC Diamond Club recipient.
MSD has been represented on NDC’s Long Term Care Advisory Council and had a team member recognized as NDC’s Member Representative of the Year in 2012. Several MSD team members have completed NDC University’s advanced sales training and operations training program.
